More gold for Jamaica this morning with defending 200m medalist Veronica Campbell Brown showing a personal best in the women’s 200m -21.74 from lane 4. Allyson Felix put on a fabulous run holding off Kerron Stewart to take the silver (USA) ,Kerron Stewart took bronze 22.00 seconds.

Jamaica had three finalists in the women’s 200m. Jamaica now has a total of 9 medals so far the most ever for Jamaica.

  2. Veronica neeevah disappoints, and young Kerron just showing them how things will be in anotha four years, lol!! So proud, so proud, so proud… And the relays look soo promising… just a shame the US had to foul up so early in both 4x1s! We wanted to whop them properly in the finals, chu!!

  4. Paulette thats a good idea indeed. The athletes looking forward to a big welcome home after the games (depending on who not going to run other places).
