Jessica Alba in sexy political Ad-Declare yourself or you will be punished

This sexy ad featuring Jessica Abla is creating quite a vibration. The website a group that encourages young Americans to register and vote shows Alba in bondage, all tied up in tears. She does look stressed. I am sure there was no real torture here besides it’s not like it was water boarding or anything. Maybe we need some sexy ads to get young people to vote in Jamaica too.[ If only there was a sexy site for me to register on in my country]. 🙂

In all seriousness though to escape from the bondage of handcuffs and whips, it is important for one to declare ones self and not silence ones screams from nipple clamps and Ben wala-balls. After the screaming and whipping the duct tape was removed from Jessica’s mouth, with tears running down her face she had this to say:

“I really don’t see the point in not registering to vote. We sign up for MySpace pages and Facebook pages, and download music off the internet. The least people can do is register to vote online, actually making a difference in their world, not just making their lives a little bit cooler. It makes more sense to spend your time making a change in society—and it actually doesn’t take that much time! It takes more time to make a music playlist than it does to register to vote.”

Well said Jessica, well said indeed. She was then punished for speaking without permission.

  1. She seemed to enjoy it. I wonder how much she got paid. The things celebs do. tsk tsk.

  2. how noble, I’m sure even nobility comes with a price tag… but, on a serious note, she has a point. People gladly sign up for social networks and all kindsa crap and wont register to vote??

  3. Uhm – Dutty, you seem to enjoy this post just a BIT too much.

Your words: vibrations, whips, handcuffs – too much fun Dutty, too much fun!

What’s going on with the celebration for our Olympic team?

  4. Pretty cool concept. Wonder what a Jamaican version would look like. Who would they use? And how well would they pull it off?

  5. The Jamaican Ayatollahs —men of the cloth/clergy — across the religious denominational spectrum/continuum,feminist,and elements of the moral police — namely educators — would be extremely critical, contemputuous, loathsome ,and would probably consider such a sexual portrayal,or, characterisation of a woman vis-a-vis politics, with respect to the promulgation of voter registration and electoral behaviour/participation repugnant and execrable.Notwithstanding, subjectively, one finds the concept rather bold,fresh,audacious,flamboyant,eye-catching and intriguing. And,if presented in a palatable and artistic manner, devoid of the hardcore pornographic bondage.Ostensibly, such an advertisement, could be effective and may result in increased registration and electoral participation. But in all honesty, our politics have not reached ,or,evolved to that level of metropolitan societies, and I do not think,as a society we will move in that direction. Apparently, many of our people including political elites, still see the gun as the ultimate phallic and political symbol in terms of political power.Nonetheless,if the visual and graphic aspect of the advertisement is eschewed,Ms.Jessica Alba’s exhortation regarding voter registration on the part of young people, irrespective of which political culture, polity,or society is poignantly valid.

  6. Only if jessica alba is running for president will her image be of any benefit to the unregistered masses which she is trying to persuade (paid or not). Its cheese on a mouse trap. Politics simple does have the iffect it once had – especially on the young people who still have dreams. or what ESTEBAN AGOSTO REID said
